My client wanted a more elegant, uplifting view from the house; somewhere to dine as well as somewhere to sit and enjoy the evening sun.
The immediate terrace was raised and extended to give more generous proportions to compliment the house. Clipped yew and a low lavender hedge is used to enclose the terrace, add colour, movement and scent.
To the right of the terrace nestled in the existing border shrubs, a bespoke curved seat is installed and now offers my client a relaxed area to enjoy the garden views and entertain of an evening.
The lighting design ensures the garden’s drama is extended into the night.
